Management - Project Management Tools

The use of Critical Path scheduling for documenting project delays / impacts The use of the Critical Path Method “CPM” for scheduling has been utilized by the construction industry for nearly 40 years and is now the specified choice by both private and government owners. Although the primary use of a CPM schedule is to assist the contractor in managing his project and to insure that a project is completed on time, the CPM schedule can be used in the analysis of delays and impacts to the project. If a CPM schedule is to be effective, it is imperative that a viable schedule be constructed at the start of the project and then be accurately maintained on a consistent basis. pdf
